What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation, or SMP for short, is a non-surgical procedure that strategically places micro dot tattoos on the scalp within the upper dermal layer. This process over the course of 2 or 3 sessions, creates the illusion of hair follicles or minute hair growth. Two to three treatments are common for scalp micropigmentation, but this is dependent on the size of the area to be treated, as well as the client’s ultimate goal.

Good after-care is vital as the scalp is constantly exposed. It might be UV light and sun. It may be soaps, shampoos, or skin products. Even pollution affects longevity of the treatment and this is true of any tattoo treatment, whether scalp, permanent make or conventional body art.
